What is the reality of being in a crowded world where, as Confucius stated, "excessive [population] growth may reduce output per worker, repress levels of living for the masses, and engender strife"?

 

Featuring 12 performers and choreography by Tanya Chianese, ka·nei·see | collective’s world premiere MASSES explores what it can feel like to live in an overpopulated urban world that desperately needs but sorely lacks compassion for the strangers among us.
