MALLORY MARKHAM

 

Mallory Markham grew up studying ballet in Jackson, Mississippi before obtaining her BFA in Ballet Performance from the University of Oklahoma. During college, Ms. Markham danced with both the Oklahoma Festival Ballet as well as Contemporary Dance Oklahoma, which provided her the privilege of performing in George Balanchine’s Divertimento No. 15 and Merce Cunningham’s Inlets II. Mallory danced with the contemporary ballet company, Columbus Dance Theatre, before moving to the San Francisco Bay Area. On the West coast she has danced for and collaborated with various local companies and choreographers including Robert Moses' Kin, Amy Seiwert, The Anata Project, Kristin Damrow & Company, Blind Tiger Society, Inside Out Contemporary Ballet, Garrett + Moulton Productions, Twisted Oak Dance Theater, and ka·nei·see | collective of which she is a founding member.
